


Not the last phase...
The weeks before the exhibition have been a very busy time, full of research and work on artistic ideas and pieces, between workshops, lectures, events and discussions on art and culture. The ongoing and in the end often sleepless process found its conclusion on the day of the exhibition's opening.

The new participants got used to the Moldavian lifestyle quite quickly and soon we started to crackdown the soviet circus to get it all set to work and exhibit in there. We were hard at it for some days. However, the certainty of having to work in spaces that are contaminated with asbestos did not really speed up things, instead we started focusing on the second floor, as it was free of any remains of asbestos.

On July, 28, after a two day's trip to Chisinau the first four project members Julia Heunemann, Marie-Susann Zeise, Georg Waldmann and Matei Cioata arrived in the capital of Moldova in order to prepare the Project: Synapses.
